From application to your first shift

You'll know where you stand within a week of interview

Successful candidates normally receive a written decision within seven days of their clinical interview.

    We check that your experience, qualification and eligibility match the role.

  3. Screening call invitation

    Candidates who meet the initial requirements will receive an email to schedule a screening call.

  4. Screening call

    A member of our team will call you at your appointment time to complete the screening call.

  5. Clinical-team interview

    Interviewed by a member of the Newbrook clinical team — people who do the work, not just talk about it.

  6. Written decision Within 7 days

    Successful candidates normally receive a written decision within seven days of their clinical interview.

  7. Employment and relocation terms confirmed

    Everything on this page is confirmed in writing before you commit to relocate.

  8. Accommodation arranged

    Your private room in shared accommodation is arranged before you fly.

    You book your flight (reimbursed up to €250 after one month) and travel to your new home.

What level of English is required?

Upper intermediate spoken and written English is required for every role. Specific NMBI English language requirements are in place to register as a nurse.

How much will I earn after taxes?

Healthcare Assistants earn approximately €2,113 per month after taxes, based on a 39-hour week with no overtime included. Registered Nurses earn approximately €2,831 per month after taxes, based on a 39-hour week with no overtime included. These figures can vary based on individual circumstances. Calculate your taxes.

What experience do Healthcare Assistants need?

A minimum of one year of relevant caregiving experience.

Can newly qualified nurses apply?

Yes. Both experienced nurses and new graduates are considered for Registered Nurse roles, subject to NMBI registration or an appropriate registration pathway.

Do I need NMBI registration before applying?

No. Suitable qualified nurses without NMBI registration may be able to start as Healthcare Assistants while completing the registration process. NMBI controls all registration decisions.

What are the shifts?

12-hour shifts that normally run 8:00 to 8:00, rotating between days and nights, with two weekends off per month.

How much will I earn?

Healthcare Assistants: €14.15/hour standard, €20.15/hour for overtime. Registered Nurses: €20.00/hour flat rate. Pay is monthly.

Where will I live?

A private bedroom in a quality shared house close to your nursing home. Rent is €650–€750 per month including utilities and internet, with no deposit and the first month paid by Newbrook.

Do I have to pay for my flight?

You book and pay for your flight upfront. Newbrook reimburses up to €250 after your first month.

Is there a minimum stay commitment?

If Newbrook pays agreed relocation or registration costs on your behalf, a two-year commitment may apply. The complete terms, amounts and any repayment obligations are explained in writing before you accept an offer.

What happens after I apply?

Applications are reviewed for initial eligibility. Suitable candidates are invited to a screening call, then an interview with the clinical team. Successful candidates normally receive a written decision within seven days of their interview.
